This position will help drive growth of a generative AI-native health company working toward a paradigm shift in hyper-personalized care. Their platform helps physicians pioneer a new era of whole-person care through generative and predictive AI-powered copilots. An SAIGroup company, they leverage assets including the advanced Eureka AI platform and longitudinal data related to 300 million patients more than 4.4 billion total annual claims and more than 1.8 million healthcare professionals at more than 300 thousand facilities.
This is a direct hire role in Palo Alto, CA. This role requires a hybrid schedule with on-site presence 1-2 times/week.
Reporting to the VP of Product, the Technical Product Manager will play a pivotal role in the development of our healthcare technology products revolutionizing healthcare, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful product releases. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS based healthtech companies and a deep understanding of healthcare technology solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Requirements Definition: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including clients, end-users, and internal teams, to gather and translate high-level requirements into detailed specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear communication across development teams.
- Testing and Validation: Oversee the execution of user testing, A/B testing, and validation efforts to ensure products meet quality, usability, and performance standards. Work closely with QA engineers to identify issues and optimize the product based on testing results.
- AI and Technical Leadership: Provide thought leadership on healthcare data contents, standards, and sources; interoperability; AI technology and architecture; and application development practices. Make data-informed decisions and guide the product development team in technology selection, design patterns, and implementation methods.
- Roadmap Planning: Develop, maintain, and communicate a detailed product roadmap to align the organization around delivery timelines and milestones. Prioritize features based on business and customer impact.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely teams across the organization to ensure the successful development, launch, and ongoing support of products. Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across departments to meet product objectives.
- User-Centric Focus: Champion the user experience by gathering user feedback, conducting usability testing, and advocating for clinician and patient-centered design principles.
- Data Analysis: Conduct comprehensive user and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the healthcare technology space. Generate insights and recommendations to inform product development and positioning.
- Product Performance: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of product features and enhancements. Use analytics and performance metrics to make data-driven decisions for product optimization.
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager in health tech required
- Demonstrated success in launching health tech products from 0-to-1 as well as 1-to-N for large health systems with clinicians as users.
- Experience developing SaaS products integrated into EHRs including Epic.
- Experiencing working with Generative AI and/or Predictive AI a plus.
- Strong technical background in data with the ability to engage with globally distributed software development and data science teams to make informed technical decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and able to lead both internal and customer-facing presentations.
- Proficient in database technologies and applications of AI to large healthcare data sets a plus
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, EHR workflows and best practices.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, healthcare informatics, business).
