Carex is partnering with a local healthcare partner to find a talented HR Business Partner who will independently deliver a wide range of human resource services across multiple areas, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits. This role will also involve Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) management, with an emphasis on organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic advisor to leaders, providing them with the tools and guidance needed to enhance organizational performance. This position requires a candidate residing in Wisconsin, as there will be hybrid work arrangements, with on-site meetings and projects as needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as a strategic HR advisor and consultant to clinic and department leaders, offering expertise in employee relations, organizational design, recruitment, and retention.
  • Provide guidance and support on compensation, benefits, and HR policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as FLSA, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Manage HRIS functions related to employee management, talent acquisition, and compensation administration.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to leaders, enhancing organizational effectiveness and promoting employee engagement.
  • Lead and contribute to the development of HR policies, procedures, and special organizational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to align HR practices with business objectives, providing solutions that drive positive outcomes.
  • Support change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Assist in managing employee-related issues, such as conflict resolution, employee development, and disciplinary actions.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or Consultant, with a focus on organizational design, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Certification as SHRM-CP or HRCI – PHR preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, and ADA.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel skills; experience with HRIS technology (Ceridian preferred but not required).
  • Excellent consulting, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with leaders and teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to diplomatically resolve conflicts.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on customer service and professionalism.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality, including adherence to HIPAA privacy requirements.
