This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by guiding a talented team of 4-6 analysts and driving the success of Epic applications, including Professional Billing, Claims, and RTE. This role involves overseeing system design, build, and testing efforts, ensuring seamless affiliate communications, and mentoring team members. The Manager will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, serve as a primary resource for operational requirements, and act as a liaison between analysts, stakeholders, and Epic representatives. This is a remote position and the work day primarily follows CST hours.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee a team of 4-6 analysts, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
- Act as the primary contact for affiliate organizations, ensuring open and effective communication regarding workflows, requirements, and system functionality.
- Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders to understand unique workflows and access needs, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Assess and adapt foundational system configurations to meet affiliate-specific requirements while adhering to Epic best practices.
- Lead large-scale optimization projects, including design, build, testing, and deployment phases.
- Collaborate with analysts to ensure the delivery of high-quality system designs and configurations.
- Serve as a resource for team members, providing support in resolving technical issues, managing deliverables, and addressing user concerns.
- Assist in readiness activities for go-lives, stabilization periods, and ongoing maintenance tasks.
- Represent the PB/Claims/RTE team in project meetings and discussions with stakeholders and Epic representatives.
- Coordinate with the Training team to develop and deliver workflow documentation, tipsheets, and other training materials.
- Manage build, upgrade, and optimization tasks as required.
- Support onboarding and provide mentorship for new hires, fostering their growth and integration into the team.
What You’ll Bring:
- Leadership and Mentorship: Ability to guide, mentor, and develop team members.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Epic modules, particularly Resolute Professional Billing and Claims.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to lead meetings and manage multiple priorities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster relationships.
- Problem-Solving: Logical thinking and analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to meet changing business needs and operational requirements.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of experience/training.
- 5-7 years of prior Epic experience required.
- Certifications in Resolute Professional Billing Administration and Charge Router or Claims applications required.
- Experience leading teams or mentoring analysts in a professional setting preferred.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000 base/yr
