Carex is partnering with a manufacturing industry partner to find a highly motivated and skilled Human Resources Generalist based in Marinette, Wisconsin. This role offers the opportunity to support critical HR functions, lead projects, and drive initiatives in a collaborative and dynamic environment. The position will provide full-scope HR generalist support, including recruitment, policy administration, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and employee development.
What You'll Do
- Manage recruiting efforts for hourly, non-exempt, and temporary positions, including job postings, resume review, interviews, and final offer preparation.
- Conduct employee relations activities such as investigations, data collection, and reporting findings.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and business communications, and perform data analysis to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Administer company policies, support compliance efforts, and assist in employment and labor law investigations.
- Deliver employee training and development, including new employee orientation and management development sessions.
- Oversee the performance management program and provide guidance to senior leaders on program execution.
- Manage HR-related projects, including communications, tracking results, and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Utilize HR systems, including ADP and SAP modules, to manage HR metrics and recommend improvements.
- Support employee inquiries related to benefits, compensation, and other HR-related topics.
- Conduct routine audits of employee files and employment law postings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
What You'll Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and 2+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role (or an Associate’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience).
- Knowledge of HR policies, talent acquisition, affirmative action plans, and employment law.
- Strong recruitment and employee relations experience, including conducting investigations and resolving issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a high attention to detail.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor at all times.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to cope with ambiguity and quickly adjust priorities.
