Carex is partnering with a leading financial institution in Northeast Wisconsin to identify a dynamic Senior Vice President of Operations (SVP-Operations). Candidates must live or be willing to relocate to Northeast Wisconsin.
Summary
The SVP-Operations will oversee and optimize the operations of deposit and loan departments, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and regulatory compliance. As part of senior management, this role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that drive business growth while maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute operational strategies to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and ensure operational excellence within deposit and loan operations.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency across the organization.
- Identify revenue growth opportunities and cost-saving measures to optimize financial performance.
- Monitor financial reports, market trends, and emerging technologies to inform data-driven decision-making and capitalize on opportunities.
- Evaluate risks and opportunities, provide recommendations, and support strategic decision-making processes.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of deposit and loan operations professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure effective use of systems and services, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the banking industry, with a focus on loan and deposit operations.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of sound decision-making in complex environments.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire high performance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
