Carex is partnering with a Madison based Professional Services partner to find a Risk Management Coordinator to support insurance programs and assist the Legal & Risk Management Team. This role will be responsible for providing insurance certificates, assisting with RFP/RFQ responses, and managing General Liability, Auto, and Workers’ Compensation claims. The position involves direct interaction with insurers and brokers, requiring strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.
This is a hybrid role, based in Madison, WI!
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and manage insurance renewal applications and premium allocations.
- Report and track policy changes while maintaining organized records.
- Manage a portfolio of claims, including General Liability, Specialty Liability, Property Coverages, Auto, and Workers' Compensation.
- Procure surety bonds and Builders Risk insurance.
- Support Captive Insurance functions, including underwriting, loss reserves, and record management.
- Assist with risk management tasks such as safety training coordination and emerging risk research.
- Provide support for RFP/RFQ responses and maintain firm qualification sites.
- Review insurance provisions in contracts and assist with lease and content issues across office locations.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant Risk Management or Insurance designation(s).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, including insurance renewals.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of an organization.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
