Carex is partnering with a publishing industry partner to identify a high-performing Inside Sales Representative who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role is designed for sales professionals who excel at driving results, have a passion for helping others achieve their goals, and view selling as a form of service. The position involves working with a well-established, high-growth company committed to transforming lives by empowering authors to publish their books and unlock new opportunities.
This role is based onsite in Austin, TX.
What You'll Do
- Engage with highly qualified leads provided by a dedicated marketing and SDR team to conduct hour-long strategy sessions.
- Drive sales performance by maximizing conversion rates, average order values, and total monthly revenue.
- Leverage a structured and flexible schedule, allowing for global engagement with prospective authors while maintaining strong availability (45 hours per week minimum).
- Operate in a base + uncapped commission compensation structure, with opportunities to significantly increase earnings by exceeding sales targets.
- Collaborate with a high-performing team of sales professionals, contributing to a culture of excellence and success.
What You'll Bring
- Required: At least 3 years of proven success in sales, with a history of achieving a minimum of $250,000 in sales of any product or service. Familiarity with CRM platforms and structured sales processes.
- Preferred: 5+ years of sales experience with a track record of selling $250,000+ annually and lifetime sales exceeding $1 million. Experience in fast-paced, high-volume sales environments, particularly with low-ticket items ($5k or less) and short sales cycles (1–2 calls).
- Exceptional communication skills, strong work ethic, and a demonstrated ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
