Carex is partnering with a Healthtech Start Up partner to hire a Client Support Engineer – Clinical AI Healthcare Solutions to play a critical role in supporting clients as they implement AI-powered solutions integrated with Epic EHR systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, client relationship management, and a deep understanding of healthcare workflows and data standards.


What You'll Do

  • Client Support and Relationship Management:

    • Serve as the primary contact for healthcare organizations implementing AI-powered solutions integrated with Epic.
    • Provide outstanding client support by addressing technical and operational challenges efficiently.
    • Foster strong relationships with client stakeholders, including IT teams, clinical staff, and leadership.
  • Technical Troubleshooting and Resolution:

    • Diagnose and resolve issues related to AI solution integration with Epic systems.
    • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to address complex technical challenges.
    • Monitor and proactively address potential client concerns through regular check-ins.
  • Healthcare Data Expertise:

    • Apply knowledge of healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) to support data integrity and system integration.
    • Guide clients in leveraging AI solutions to enhance clinical workflows and outcomes.
  • Knowledgebase Management:

    • Deliver client training sessions on solution use and optimization within Epic environments.
    • Develop user guides, FAQs, and other documentation for internal and external knowledge-sharing.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

    • Partner with internal teams (e.g., product, clinical, engineering) to ensure alignment with client needs and industry standards.
    • Provide client feedback to drive product improvements and feature development.
  • Compliance and Best Practices:

    • Ensure all activities comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA.
    • Advocate for data security, privacy, and adherence to industry best practices.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in a client-facing support role, with a focus on Epic systems or healthcare IT EMR solutions preferred.
  • Strong preference for Epic Ambulatory certification.
  • Proficient in Epic EHR workflows, healthcare data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and APIs.
  • Experience with database query languages (e.g., SQL, MongoDB) for troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies in healthcare is a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments and evolving client needs.
