Carex is partnering with a brand new Epic consulting partner, Anura Connect, to find a Referrals Analyst to support their centralized authorization group. This consultant will play a critical role in designing and implementing a new prior authorization process while supporting post-live maintenance for Epic applications, particularly in a system that has been live for over 15 years. This fully remote opportunity requires the ability to work effectively during East Coast business hours.
All candidates must be an ex-Epic employee and hold their Epic Referrals certification.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement a new prior authorization process for a centralized authorization group within the health system.
- Provide post-live support and maintenance for Epic applications, focusing on Referrals while addressing related backlog issues in Real-Time Eligibility (RTE).
- Work on optimizing and converting early live systems back to Foundation build as required.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure efficient workflows in patient access areas, including scheduling and registration processes.
- Apply knowledge of Epic applications such as Cadence Scheduling, Prelude Registration, and Referrals to meet operational needs.
What You’ll Bring
- Epic Referrals Certification is required; certifications in Cadence Scheduling and Prelude Registration are highly beneficial.
- Strong experience with post-live support and maintenance of Epic applications, particularly Referrals and RTE (Real-Time Eligibility is preferred but not mandatory).
- Expertise in prior authorization workflows and processes for centralized authorization teams.
- Demonstrated ability to convert early live systems to a Foundation build configuration.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to support East Coast business hours in a remote work environment.
- Flexibility to start immediately and commit to a 6-month contract with the option to extend.
