Carex is partnering with a biotech industry leader to hire an HR Operations Administrator who will provide functional support to the HR Dept, including the Contingent Workforce Program. This role is responsible for facilitating centralized non-employee lifecycle operational processes, ensuring seamless operations related to requisitions, services administration, onboarding, offboarding, compliance programs, and other contingent workforce processes. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements, maintain supplier relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
This is a contract-to-hire role, hybrid in Madison, WI.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily operations of the contingent workforce system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Monitor key metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.
- Contribute to new philosophies, services, and system integrations within the Contingent Workforce Program.
- Maintain training plans and coach users on contingent workforce processes and system usage.
- Manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance using program metrics, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support escalated case management through problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration.
- Act as a key project team member on cross-functional initiatives impacting contingent workforce processes.
- Troubleshoot complex issues by gathering data, analyzing impacts, and recommending solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Adapt to change and support team members through transitions while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to enhance program effectiveness.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of HR administration experience.
- Extensive knowledge of business concepts, procedures, and contingent workforce fundamentals.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with integrity and discretion.
- High adaptability to change and ability to support team members through transitions.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to work on a computer or mobile device for extended periods.
- Ability to work on-site in Madison 2-3 days/week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience with either ATS or contingent workforce systems such as Coupa, Beeline, or Fieldglass preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel reporting, including VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP functions.
- Knowledge of Scrum and/or Agile frameworks helpful.
