Carex is partnering with a Manufacturing industry partner to find an experienced IT Business Analyst – Maximo to support enterprise asset management system functionality and optimization. This role will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and Maximo project teams to gather business and process requirements, provide expert-level Maximo functional guidance, and lead configuration and documentation activities. The ideal candidate will bring deep Maximo 7.6.x experience and possess the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable solutions.
This is an hybrid (2-3 days/week on-site) opportunity in Dallas, TX.
What You’ll Do

Collaborate with business units to gather and analyze requirements related to enterprise asset management and maintenance processes.

Provide subject matter expertise on IBM Maximo 7.6.x, focusing on core modules including Asset Management, Work Management, Inventory, Purchasing, and Applications Designer.

Configure Maximo environments and support development of functional and technical specifications.

Design and document business processes, configurations, and integrations with other IT systems such as ERP platforms.

Develop reports using BIRT or similar tools and manage KPIs and Start Centers within Maximo.

Participate in all phases of testing, documentation, and training activities across project lifecycles.

Support data mapping and data loading processes.

Offer ongoing user support and troubleshooting for Maximo users, including Mobile Maximo interfaces.

Travel up to 25% to other partner locations to support implementations and training.
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences or a related field; OR Associate’s degree in Information Technology with a minimum of 3 years of relevant IT experience.

A minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a Functional Specialist role focused on IBM Maximo implementation.

Deep knowledge of EAM best practices and extensive hands-on experience with Maximo 7.6.x.

Proficiency in Maximo modules and configuration tasks including Database Configuration, GL Accounts, Security Groups, and Applications Designer.

Familiarity with Maximo integration technologies and a strong understanding of Maximo business objects.

Experience in BIRT or other reporting tools and strong skills in data mapping/loading.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to train and support large user groups.

Preferred experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS), including Manage, Health, and Predict modules.

Desirable skills include Power BI reporting, RDBMS and advanced SQL, SAP knowledge, cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure), and scripting (Python, Java).

Industry experience in manufacturing is a plus.
