Carex is partnering with a Health Tech partner to hire an Junior Software Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about building software and collaborating with a highly motivated team. The position is based in downtown Madison, WI, with the expectation to be in the office 1-2 days per week.
What You'll Do:
- Develop customer workflows for iOS, Android, and Web platforms based on detailed requirements.
- Craft user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Enhance mobile applications built in Swift and Kotlin.
- Provide and receive feedback through peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with teams across customer success, quality assurance, product management, and sales to ensure timely product releases.
- Support and adhere to the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in software development.
- Flexibility, initiative, and a sense of ownership.
- Strong focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
